Explore the beauty of the San Francisco Botanical Garden from your own home!

This handbound meander book opens in all four directions simulating a walk through the garden and allowing viewers to discover botanical gems along the way. The book has hard covers covered with hand-patterned paste papers and all images in the book were digitally captured and laser printed.

The book contains 30 double-sided photos. Pastepaper covers are made from a mixture of acrylic paint and methyl cellulose on Neenah Paper Company’s Desert Storm paper. Pastepapers have varying slate grey, brown, pink, and green coloring* meant to be an abstract representation of the paved garden walkway and florals that are encountered in real life. Paint contains mica for a slightly metallic and textured look & feel.

Book measures 4.25 x 0.25 x 2.5in closed; 5ft 6in x 2.5in when fully opened. The meander structure allows the book to be displayed in a sculptural/object manner, if desired.
